In celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Preliminary Emancipation Proclamation, this four-day exhibition will present for the first time together Abraham Lincoln’s handwritten draft, issued on September 22, 1862, from the New York State Library, and The Officia
l Preliminary Emancipation Proclamation, from the National Archives.
