Black History 360: Summer Education Institute
Monday-Saturday, July 23-28, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Registration is open until July 15th for the 3rd Annual Schomburg Summer Education Institute that unites educators-school teachers, college faculty, community educators, and college students-with premier historians and scholars to explore the history and cultures of African Americans and African peoples throughout the Diaspora. Daily themes include Teaching Africa, Civil Rights History, Race & Social Justice Education, Black Migration/Immigration, and The African Diaspora & STEM. Registration Fees: General: $600 for 6 days or $125 per day; College Students & Seniors: $450 for 6 days or $75 per day. (I.D. required).
